Hi Jon:

You are doing the right thing to discuss and come up with a plan now. It
might drum you up some bizness.

I LIKE the WIVUCH program! It's motivated me towards more activity. And
there are at least 7 fixed station ops (1 out of state) that are actively
seeking counties. All are tending to focus on 2m at the present but at
least two are passively collecting other bands.

My personal view is that "single band" achievements will become a more
utilized portion of the program when gaining new counties on the easy
bands flattens out.

I look forward to hearing replies from some of the guys actively
collecting counties for the WIVUCH program.

I have great hope for the program. I think there are FINE accomplishments
ahead for those participating in this program. Imagine when someone
eventually works them all on VHF/UHF. ALL 72 Wisconsin counties on
VHF/UHF bands. That's impressive considering population, trees, hills,
etc. And then carry that further, imagine a fixed station attaining 30
counties on 1296, and then 40. Or when someone works all 72 on 432! Holy
Cow! Anyways, I see that there is sustained challenge for those who want
it.

All the counties you mentioned are rare (so far) in the program.

Last Tuesdays 222 Activity night netted me a whopping 3 Q's on 222. But
then I had a ragchew on 2 and 432. So hopefully the sprint will have more
activity :-) . Not sure if I'll be on for that one. It's getting close to
time to put the rack away for the season :-).

Anyways, fixed stations, give Jon some input on those counties.
