What if....
What if the weather this week has enough rain to make Buck Hill a
no-go? Is there any sort of alternative plan? If so, where? And...a
link perhaps to a map of an alternate site since we Wisconsin folks have
never been to any place other than Buck Hill?
Intellicast is calling for "few showers" on Fri, Sat and Sun with a 1%
chance it could be in snow form in Burnsville on Sat and/or Sun. Friday
has 30% chance of precip, Sat is 30% chance and Sun is 60% chance...

With the exception of the Fall Sprints, this coming weekend marks the end of the VHF+ contesting season with the 2nd weekend of the ARRL's 10 GHz& Up contest. Weather permitting, we will have a group active from Buck Hill, EN34ir, along with a rover pack traveling south central Iowa. There will also be several fixed stations around, and a small group of rovers over in SW Wisconsin on Sunday. This is your last chance to get out and to play on 10 gigs, so come out and visit the group on Buck Hill (and bring your 10gig system if you have one). Come out for part of a day, or for both days. Activity, weather permitting, should be from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm or so on both days, Sept 18& 19. In the cities, check 146.46 FM.
