[NLRS] VHF contest.

Yesterday, I noticed a white mini van with lots of rover antennas headed
south on I-35, about 7:15 PM, vicinity of mile post 127. Was that Bruce
on his way to Kansas?

I'm working on getting up a small 2m yagi and a single RIW for 432 on a
tripod on the roof. Won't have a rotor, they will be looking north and
the feed line losses will be nontrivial, but I should be workable from
the cities since I'm 150 feet higher elevation than the old place and 25
miles north. My UHF log shows a grand 3 points, cross polarization made
even that one tough to achieve.

There is a chance WB0BQV also in EN32 may be on with better antennas
than I'll have.

There is also a slight chance I might get the 10 GHz station working no
better than it was on Buck Hill last fall. That is deaf receiver and
only 100 mw on transmit.
