Many of you worked with Dennis K7BV during the years that he served as Sales &
Marketing Manager at ARRL HQ from 2002 to 2006. For the last four years, he has
been a regular at most of your major hamfest across the country in his current
role as VP of Yaesu NA Amateur Sales In my case, I have known Dennis for many
years as an ardent dxpeditioner and spokesman for DX'ing. More about his DX'ing

Dennis was recently diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing intensive treatment
in California. In his own humorous way, Dennis is publishing a blog of his trip
into a living hell. It can be found at http://k7bvcancer.blogspot.com/ 

I received a short note from him a few days ago. It simply said "Dennis the
Menace Lives". One tough guy. Probably got that way from working with Section
Managers for four years. :-)
