Hello NLRS land
By now most of you have seen the 2010 June VHF Contest write-up. Rick, K1DS, has done another nice job. Congratulations to the NLRS for placing 8th out of 32 clubs in the medium category with a score of 998,633 points. 348,168 of those points came from the 7th place W0UC multi-op and 126,040 came from the 16th place W0VB limited multi-op.
Congratulations to WA0VPJ/R who finished in 7th place in the nation in the limited rover class.
In the rover class it appears that the top 11 rovers were in the lunch-box, rover-pack, grid circling mentality. The #12 rover was your humble author with 80,784 points. NLRS club members that submitted a log were: K0AWU, K0SIX, KC0RQH, N0EO, NN0Q, W0DJM/R, W0GHZ, W0IS, W0OHU, W0UC, W0VB, W0ZQ/R, W6GMT, WA0VPJ/R.
Last, a tip of the hat to the Badger Contesters who finished 12th in the Medium Club category and the Chippewa Valley VHF Contesters who finished in 2nd place in the Limited Club Category. Nice job guys - it was fun working everyone.
73, Jon
W0ZQ
