Great job to the W0AUS crew!
I hope to have the home station in operation before August 2011, and
should be able to join in the fun.

The paper certificate lists multi-op station members K0TAR, KA0RYT, N0HJZ, N0KP, amd WA0RSE as op's. I will make a copy of the award for all five of you and get them to you one way or another.

> You may recall that the club had a focused effort in 2009 to see what Rovermania can do for fixed station scoring, particularly for a multi-op. These five guys braved the frozen tundra found at the top of Buck Hill for 469 contacts, 198 grids, and a score of 528,660 points, all on 222 and up. This score shattered the previous Dakota Division multi-op record of 86,136 set back in 2005 and is the highest multi-op score in the nation since W2SZ score of 535,680 points in 2004. The following 27 rovers were worked for a total of 349 contacts - W0ZQ/R, K0MHC/R, KC0IYT/R. W9FZ/R, W7XU/R, WA0VPJ/R, N0UK/R, K0HAC/R, KC0P/R, N0HZO/R, WB0LJC/R, K0PC/R, KE3QY/R, N0DQS/R, WA2VOI/R, K0PG/R, K9ILT/R, K9JK/R, N0EDV/R, N0QJM/R, KB0NES/R, W0JT/R, KC0OIA/R, KC0PMW/R, W0IS/R, KD0ABR/R, and WB8BZK/R. In addition to this another 64 home stations were worked for a total of 120 contacts.

> As we move through the heart of this falls HF contesting season and into winter, now is a good time to consider updates and upgrades to your VHF+ station for next summers season. 222 and 902 are awesome bands and the club has lots of local activity on 10 GHz. As an example of increased high band activity, in 1994 (a record year for logs), 902 generated 572 contacts in all logs received while in 2009 there were 1,778, an increase of 211%. On 10 GHz the increase from 1994 to 2009 was from 95 to 811 Q's, or 754% !
