Hey Donn,
Although I can't make the Fri dinner, I'll offer a couple venues since
it is kinda my part of town,
Rudy's Redeye Grill
north of downtown White Bear right on hwy 61
http://www.rudysredeye.com/
Washington Square Bar and Grill
right in downtown White Bear, 1 block east of hwy 61

Jimmy's
Vadnais Heights

or, if you come farther down hwy 61 to Beam Ave and go west about a mile,
you are at Maplewood Mall... with lots of options, Jake's, Outback, Chili's,
Olive Garden, etc.
Have fun!
