Well, with the weekend over, we are now less than two weeks to Aurora '10.
While I know a number of folks will be going to Dayton, I also know a few people
are comming in from out of town for Aurora, so its appropriate to think about
having a get together on Friday evening. We've done this in the past... had a
dinner "meeting" where the most important (only) things on the agenda are kibble
and nosh.
So. Any suggestions as to where to have our impromptu gathering ? It should be
more or less close to White Bear Lake, and needs to be easy to find and get to.
Food, of course, and maybe liquid refreshments. Quiet enough that we can talk.
(We have been at the Perkins at Lexington and I-694 in the past, but after the
last time there were several comments about "not going there again." I'm at a
loss to think of any place other than the Bear Town Inn (?) that we've gone to
AFTER Aurora for the last several years. That area is not my part of town, I'm
afraid.
Lets see if we can come up with a couple (or more) suggestions by, say,
Wednesday. Give everybody until Monday (week from now) to say if they're going
to be there or not. I'll make reservations for us on Tuesday, the 11th for
Friday evening, 7PM.
Comments ?
Suggestions either to me directly (@arrl.net), or to the Reflector.
