Greetings:

We're two weeks into this edition of the 432 net, and it's been fun. Thanks
to all who've checked in. I haven't received a nasty note from the FCC or my
neighbors yet, so I think we're successful so far. I thought I might send
out this note as follow up about the net.

Last night, while doing the net, my main radio died in the middle of
a transmission! I managed to swap radios in less than 4 minutes, but wanted
to check- did I miss anyone? I live in a fairly high noise area, so feel
free to let me know if I'm not hearing those trying to check in. Do you live
a long way from St. Paul? Let me know what you hear. I always appreciate
feedback that I can use to improve my station and operating. I'll use the
backup radio for the next couple of weeks while the local shop repairs my
rig, but folks probably won't notice much difference.

I don't have any conflicts with running the net in the forseeable future.
However, I'm sure my family and I will take a few trips this summer that may
prevent my running the net. If a conflict comes up, I'll try to announce it
on this reflector as far in advance as I can. If anyone wants to take the
net (whether I'm gone or not) just drop me a line and feel free- it's your
net, after all.

Anyway, thanks for the opportunity to run this net. If you're available
around 8 pm Sundays, fire up that 432 rig and point towards 35E and Randolph
(EN34kw) and check in!

73,

Andy K0AJL
