I like to keep things simple. That looks way too complicated to me. Maybe we
could add in path loss due to trees and enhancement due to passing
airplanes? Rytov's functions for laser propagation through turbulent media?
With 11 or 12 bands active, it's all I can do to get operational let alone
calculate that for each band. I really don't know what the loss is of my
WA3RMX feeds or of my unique 10 GHz feed.
I hope to work some of you this weekend. Point your antennas toward EN50rl
once in a while! We may not be able to work on 10 GHz but on lower bands,
who knows? I've worked as far as 500 miles on all bands with a good opening
before. And I'm QRP-Portable (under 10 watts on all bands).
