[NLRS] Severe WX + 144.240 Net Notice for Tonight

     Figure I will put out the 144.240 net notice, just like we 
do every week.   Realize many of you will be impacted by 
severe weather later today, so keep your ears/eyes open 
and good luck.    

     If there is a 144.240 net tonight at 8pm, I will be calling 
it and not WB9LYH.   I wouldn't be looking NW until at 
least 8:45 or so.   

     For areas that manage to stay south of storms today and 
tonight, you may end up with some very nice tropo.   Tropo 
in the Plains this morning is good and with blast furnace air 
moving in at all levels of the atmosphere, I'd expect that tropo 
to expand as the day moves on.   

     I will be hanging around the on4kst.com chat (choose the 
IARU Region 2 room for 144-432 MHz) today, monitoring 
radio and weather developments.   Maybe some new faces 
will show up and say hello.   The room is there so VHF'ers 
can connect and have fun.
