It'll help if you visit kc9bqa.com for details about tonight's
long-range net. It's all explained there.
Neither WB9LYH or I are available tonight. So KA0KYZ
in EN33 will again be stirring things up on 144.230 (yes .230)
starting at 0100Z. Like the past few weeks, his emphasis will
be on the areas to his SW, W and NW. Please spread the
word and give Terry some business tonight. He should be in
the on4kst.com real-time chat for VHF/UHF. Even if you
don't care to chat, that room lets everyone know what's going on.
Choose the IARU Region 2 room for 144-432 MHz
Longer-term, both WB9LYH and I would be pleased if the
early activity on 144.230 keeps going. It gets you guys out
west into the game right away, rather than waiting for us in WI
to turn your way on 144.240 after 0130-0200Z. It also makes
it more possible to find activity deeper into MO, KS, NE and
the Dakotas.
Mark and I still enjoy working you guys. :) We just don't like
making you wait on 144.240, while we're busy with check-ins
from MI, IN, IL and WI. We'll still look SW, W and NW on
144.240 after about 0145. Just not tonight because neither of
us is available.
