The Wed. 144.240 net is going to get a much better net
control. WB9LYH Mark will take over here, starting at 7:15pm
tonight.

He's in EN54cl, or smack in the middle of Wisconsin. He's
louder than I am, and 100 miles closer to most of you.

Best of all, he's committed to pushing propagation limits,
and eager to increase activity on 144, in every direction. Mark
has indicated to me that he may look a full 360 with this net,
so listen along and see what he hears.

I hope the word gets out to the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas
and Missouri because Mark could very well reach into those
areas. Also southern VE-land. WB9LYH's signal will be loud
for all of MN and IA, so jump in tonight and say hello to Mark.

There may be a few Wednesdays where WB9LYH is not
available. If that happens, I will take the 144.240 net, just as I
have the past 14 months. I will be listening along on 144.240
most nights, to hear what Mark is working. If you want to gab
with me, tell net control or shoot me an email and we'll head
down to 144.230 or 225, something like that. I also monitor
http://dxworld.com/vhfqso.html in real-time.

I'm continuing my other 144.250 nets on Wed. I'm not going
anywhere. I will also continue to promote all nets via email,
unless WB9LYH would rather, LOL. It's amazing how many
VHF'ers you must reach out to, to find 10-20 who will get on
weekly, but at least it's paying off.

YOU can HELP by spreading the word. I know there are
many VHF'ers out there who just have no clue what's going on.
And complaining about how dead the bands are, yada-yada.
Well -- the bands are getting better every month. So go spread
some good news.

   Have fun tonight playing radio!
