While I'll admit that I didn't work NLRS-land much, I had a blast. Near
400 Q's! As good as Wisconsin roving :-) . And EXCELLENT roving spots are
EASY to find in the great plains. The vistas are 10-giggers dream. Full
travelogue and pictures will be posted in the results tab of the Midwest
Mania! Website.
I guess the early results say that those "in" the region had
a blast with increased activity. Those outside the region didn't notice
much increased contacts out into the Great Plains.
I'm in Norfolk, NE today and will drive across Iowa to the
farm in Hillsboro to store the antennas for another season.
I worked KA0RYT, W7XU, K0SIX, and W0GHZ (and K2DRH).
