Thanks first to Jon for helping to spread the word on the Sprint
Sprints.
Those with even sharper eyes *may* recognize that May 2 happens to be
the FIRST Saturday of the month, which I understand to coincide with
the monthly "MAD" or Microwave Activity Day.
No "contest" with MAD but possibly a further initiative for activity.
Activity in SBMS is DEFINITELY acceptable for the Microwave Spring
Sprint (as long as within the local 6am to 1pm time window, though I
plead ignorance on how SBMS "rules" for Rovers might impact...the
Sprint follows "traditional" rules based on 4-character Grid Locators,
Minor Grids, for rovers being a "new" station, even though exchange
and logging of 6-character "sub-grid" locators is encouraged).
Also, PLEASE consider my request for "electronic" logs in Cabrillo
format if any of you do participate and submit logs for ANY of the
Spring Sprints.
