Comments:  Another fun contest roaming around our nice countryside.  On Saturday, I headed down to the St. Charles grid corner.  Some nice 370 km Q’s with K0AWU on 2, 222, 432, 902, 1296, and 10 gigs, thanks Bill !   I had forgotten my keyer for the 902-3456 IF rig, so I had to improvise – if you worked me on any of these bands on CW I was tapping out code by using a RCA phono plug and touching the case of the rig – old school.  With the good activity on 6m, and the somewhat average at best, perhaps less than average tropo, its not too surprising that my totals on the higher bands was down.  Sunday was a part time effort heading up to the Howard Lake area for EN35/25/24.  Jim, K0MHC/R, pulled into the EN25 spot just as I was getting ready to leave so we had a brief eye-ball QSO.  The weather was great and it was a lot of fun
to get out and play a little radio.  Next up, Rovermania and the August UHF contest !
