[NLRS] 3 Days Til The UHF Contest

Hi All -
 
A couple things as we get closer to the UHF Contest:
 
1)  If you haven't sent me your plans for the contest, please do, and  do 
it soon.  I'd prefer to not be constantly updating things at the  last 
minute.  
 
2)  The ARRL results from last year showed a goal of 200 logs for this  
years event.  Could we get 100 logs from the Upper Midwest?!  With  four clubs 
in the Upper Midwest that focus on VHF/UHF or contesting, I think we  have a 
chance.  The log forms and submission rules are on the _www.arrl.org_ 
(http://www.arrl.org)  site.  Let me know if you have  issues with this.
 
3) Make sure everything you have is tested.  Get on the air over the  next 
couple days to make some QSO's, check band conditions, and see if your  
equipment is working OK.  You do not want to find an antenna issue at 1:00  on 
Saturday.
 
4) If you have any issues or questions about the contest, drop a note to  
the reflector or to my personal email.
 
Three days!  Get ready!
