Goodmorning,
This may be off the topic, (low vhf bandwidth stuff) Hi! Hi! but a congratulations are in order to John WA0VPJ/R and his "rotor" Mark AI0Z for a 4th Place in the country, and 5th place overall world in the 2008 CQ WW VHF Constest Rover category.
Other local top ten showings were K2DRH #1 All Band USA and World; K0KP (Daves brother to the north) 7th place All Band USA and World; N9TTX/R  3rd place Rover in USA and World. 
 
This years contest is July 18th and 19th, the weekend prior to Central States Conference in Chicago.
 
Mark your calendars.  Its a fun two band contest with many categories!
