They do. I always get a big welcome when I come on the air in a new  
grid. They are concerned if they haven't heard me on for a while. They  
get upset if I am too far behind schedule. They thank me for getting  
on. It is a great group. I just wish there were more of them.

By the way, I think 87 QSOs for 710 miles is great, I drove further  
last January and only made 31 QSOs! And my first rove was even further  
and only yielded 21 QSOs! I treat each rove as a new learning  
experience and have increased my scores in each contest as a result.  
This rove I found out I can pretty easily add another grid or two.
