[NLRS] September VHF Contest Results

Hello NLRS land.   

The 2008  September VHF contest results are in the March QST.  However, the 
ARRL's  contest website has not yet been updated.  Congratulations to the NLRS 
for  placing 9th out of 18 clubs in the medium category with 14  logs. 

Looking at the top ten in the nation, Dave, N0KP, finished  7th in the nation 
in the SOLP category, the K9CVC gang finished 10th in the  multi-op category, 
W9FZ/R placed 10th in the Rover category, and WA0VPJ/R placed  2nd in the 
Limited Rover category.  John, WA0VPJ/R missed a first place  finish by only 
1,900 points !  

Looking at the Midwest Region, we  had top five finishes in the SOLP category 
by N0KP, K0MHC, and NG0R, in the SOHP  category by W0ZQ and K0AWU, in the 
multi-op category by W0VB, in the Rover  category by KC0IYT/R and W0ZQ/R, and in 
the Limited Rover category by  WA0VPJ/R.   W9FZ/R activated eight grids while 
WA0VPJ/R activated  nine.
