Jon -

I do love the look and feel of QSL cards.? I have been out of the country enough to know what is coming my way after a trip.? Once you've filled out? QSL card for every DL or JA in their country, LOTW makes things easier.? I now think that I have worked every German, Italian and Japanese amateur, and I have the cards to prove it.

I still look at some cards from distant stations on 1296, but I rarely look at the 100th card I got from a guy in FM19.

And a yang to this ying - I LIKE QSL cards.?

Yes, there is the cost, yes there is the time of writing them out, etc, etc, but
nothing that LOTW has to offer can compete with HOLDING my 100th QSL card on 80m
for my 5BDXCC.?? So while I can fullly appricate the efficency of LOTW, it is
rather dull and lifeless - a sign of our accelerated lives and in my opinion, a
bad thing for our hobby.??However, technology does march on regardless of one's
opinion of it.
