Hi all

I picked up a couple of the dishes/white boxes years ago - sold
off the dishes but kept the white box and their guts. The 'guts'
were two MACOM gun sources - one for RX and one for TX. The
RX could transmit as well by modulating the PSU line.
Anyway, I have thought of using these for short range
Q's during contests. Also have picked up some Alpha
sources with a rx diode, gunn, and varactor - a cheap
way to get on the air - just add psu and a 30mhz wbfm IF.
Anyway, if there is work on these, please include me in
the email as I am going to be working on getting these
up and running. Got my start in wbfm and its still a
quick/easy way to add a band.
