[NLRS] Fall Sprint schedule alternative thinking

Todd/Jon/NLRSers,

Or is there an alternate "idea" here?

Recommend that ths SVHFS NOT hold the 144 MHz on the Monday
immediately following the 10 GHz 2nd weekend.

I've also thought that it would be better for the 50 MHz Sprint in
their Fall Series to be EARLIER (that is "closer" to summer where
Sproadic-E _might _be more likely?),
so the weekend following 10 GHz for 50 MHz (and it's only a FOUR hour
sprint on ONE evening, versus the entire weekend so reduced
interference with honey-dos). Then MAYBE the "Microwave" would better
align with MAD (first Saturday Microwave Activity Day) in October,
THEN successive weeks on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday for the 144/222/432
Sprints, slipping them more into October. Of couse THEN, it might be
slipping too close to Hallowe'en.

Obviously NOT going to change for 2008 but might it be a "solution"
that would increase activity IN the Fall Sprints for 2009? And if made
by a consortium of regional clubs (even though NOT in the
"southeast"), along with a commitment of increased participation FROM
said region, maybe something the SVHFS would at least consider.

A "thought" (or maybe several?). Any comments?

73, JK
