You may not be planning to operate all 33 hours of the ARRL QSO Party but
you can still pick up Qs for additional grid multipliers on a limited
schedule by joining us from 7 - 9 (CST) on 144.220 MHz.

During the Sept. VHF QSO Party many of the stations located Northwest (from
West to North) of the Twin Cities should be easier to find on our adopted
calling frequency of: 144.220 MHz. We'll be listening for Twin Cities and
Wisconsin stations during these three time windows:

7 - 9 PM (CST) on Saturday evening

7 - 9 AM (CST) on Sunday morning

7 - 9 PM (CST) on Sunday evening

Not all of the Northwest stations can be on during all 6 of these hours but
some of us will surely be there. Some may be on for many additional hours
and other frequencies of their choice.

Hopefully we'll have good propagation during one or more of these time
windows and avoid the chaotic last hour of the contest (from 9 - 10 PM on
Sunday). With any luck the Northwest calling frequency may become over
crowded in which case you can QSY to run your Qs and then return to 144.220
MHz to pick up more stations; if necessary. We'll be QSYing up and down the
bands operating 20 KHz above the calling frequencies (e.g., 50.145, 222.120,
432.120, etc.) so that others can jump in for additional Qs.

Piggybacking onto the end of QSOs is ENCOURAGED in order to attract
attention!

MAKE SOME NOISE by aiming your antennas Northwest and calling CQ if you
don't hear anyone!

Even if your rotors are stuck in some other direction at least the Northwest
gang will be more likely to work each other. Everyone is encouraged to just
get on the air and operate as much as you can. Have a good time!

PS: We still need some ROVERS!
