Hello NLRS land.
Here is my planned routes & times for this weekends contest. I will be
using 222.080 & 432.080 MHz as the rovers are packed in 5 KHz spacing
starting at 0.090 and down. The route is seven unique grids with EN34
being visited twice. For those to my north, my Sunday stop in EN34fs has a
superior take-off in your direction than does Saturday night from EN34oi
that has lots of corn that way.
Saturday:
EN44ab 1:00pm to 3:00pm
EN43aw 3:20pm to 5:20pm
EN33ww 5:35pm to 7:35pm
EN34oi 8:35pm to 10:30pm
Sunday:
EN35ad 6:30am to 7:50am
EN25xb 8:20am to 9:40am
EN24wv 10:00am to 11:15am
EN34fs Noon to 1:00pm
The Saturday schedule looks pretty solid. I am concerned that my Sunday
morning schedule is too aggressive. The problem is that I would like to be
back in EN34fs to work 10GHz off of downtown at the end of the contest and
its a 45 minute drive in from EN24wv. As such, its iffy, but its also the
plan. If we have any tropo and things are good, the schedule goes out the
door.
Have fun everyone. Rovers, drive safe. Please make sure you keep a log
and send it in. Also, make some noise on 223.5 and 446 FM as I am going to
try to spread the word to the HF guys that there is a contest this weekend.
Those with connections to repeater clubs may want to mention it there.
73, Jon
