[NLRS] Rovermania V update:7/28/08

Hello NLRS land.   Here is the Monday morning update for this  weekends 
contest.  Keep those updates coming !  The long range  forecast looks promising for 
improved tropo conditions.  
 
Rovermania & the ARRL UHF contest got some good visibility at Central  States 
due to both my presentation and discussion by K9JK and others.  The  goal of 
200 submitted logs was emphasized, will you be there ?    Remember, paper logs 
are OK and the contest runs from 1:00 Sat to 1:00 Sunday,  so if you show up 
Sunday night to make a few contacts you will be too late  !
 
I still have the following antennas for anyone that wants to borrow  them.  
222:  Homebrew 3 ele 24" boom, measured at CS at 7.3 dB
432:   CC boomer modified to K1FO, 17' boom, knocks down to three sections 
for easy  transport
902:  HB cheap yagi, 3' boom, 11.2 dB measured at  CS
3456:  5' end mount looper, just like I use for roving.
5760 Small  HyperLink dish (HG5822G) 16" x 11", 21.1 dB measured at CS.
