[NLRS] 10 GHz & Light Youtube

I've done a little work with the non-LOS stuff. It's definately doable,
particularly using some DSP techniques. If you are going to use visible
light, be aware of any local ordinances regarding lasers. If you use an
"LED" one would argue that you don't have to worry about it, beyond any
light-pollution requirements and some common sense. Here in NY the
laws are downright draconian in regard to lasers, but I don't know what
they are like where you are.

I have an article in the 2004 (? --whenever we were up near Toronto)
CSVHFS proceedings that outlines some of the non-LOS experiements I've
done. I'm happy to send a copy if anyone would like it. I also have
some really simple CW keying circuits for lasers and LEDs that you could
use for both audio MCW and DSP work. Just ask.

BTW, if anyone knows of an IR version of the Luxeon LED I'd be interested...
