WOW, I don't how others may feel, but that may be the best Rovermania yet.
I was down at the EN33/34/43/44 grid corner on Saturday and the EN24/25/34/35
grid corner on Sunday. The bands were in good shape Saturday into the
evening with easy SSB contacts on 902 and up. Working K2DRH from EN24 on Sunday
Bob mentioned that he had a new record score. Not sure about my score as the
log is a bit of a mess and needs to be transferred into Roverlog, but it
looks like about 350 Q's. Best DX was up to EN08 (thanks Dennis ... I was mobile
! ), down to EM39, over to EN50 and up to EN74. Last I heard Bruce, W9FZ/R,
he was down in EN32 fighting off the pile ups. I had some time to make some
longer haul 902, 1296 and 10 GHz Q's with Bill, K0AWU and some outstanding
signals from Jim, K0MHC in EN26 on 432 through 3456 where most of them were on
SSB.

Many thanks to those who stood by when I entered a new grid .... at times I
felt like the control tower at O'Hare Airport ... its quite the challenge and
I know how frustrating it can be for the fixed stations. I never left a
grid if I knew someone was still looking for me.

For those who were playing, don't forget to send in a log .... paper is
fine. Lets see if we can shatter that 200 log barrier this year.

More later after I've had a chance to recover !

73, Jon
