Check out WA5VJB's "Cheap Yagis" (wa5vjb.com) then 'downloads', 'cheap yagi antennas'

FOLLOW the directions and end up with 10 elements for maybe $5-6.  Two evenings two build.  (Will cosat more if you have 
to buy a quart of exterior varnish, which will cost $10 !)
