How about we put the D-Star stuff where we can spare some bandwidth?
If the fast scan folks wanted to get on 2m I somehow doubt that anyone
would allow that... How about we use this "new" technology to attempt to
push some usage up onto the higher portions of the low microwave bands?
In this case there is NO reason to push this onto to 2m as one really has
to buy a new radio anyhow (yea I know you can get a card for some
existing Icom radios).

Of course one thing to keep in mind, is how digital cell phones act. I for
one know I would rather stay analog. Not because I'm a luddite, but
because I greatly prefer weak signal to _no_ signal...!
