HI John,
VR3 is the correct pot for the low power adjustment. Are you sure you've got the button pushed for low power ? VR3
should only have an effect if you've selected Low Power.
On my 751, I found the control signal in the wiring harness from the front panel, and cut and taped it. (The Low Power
button GROUNDS the control signal for HIGH POWER, so if its left hanging, you get low power.) That solved my "memory"
problem automatically.
