Hello NLRS land.
As many of you know, the Central States VHF Society conference is in San
Antonio, TX, July 26 - 29. Full information can be found at
_http://www.csvhfs.org/conference/index.html_ (http://www.csvhfs.org/conference/index.html) .
I did a cut & paste of the Technical Program agenda as presently known at
this time (see below). You can see that, through some slip in my judgement, I
have volunteered to present on Rovermania. This is where you come in. For
the rovers who have been out and about over the last three years for
Rovermania, if you have a few pictures that you can send me, I may use them as part
of my presentation. I have already grabbed a few JPGs from Mr. Kings
website. What I would like is a picture of your rover, both inside and out, and
any "action" pictures that you may have. I do not need 500 slides ... two or
three is what I am looking for. Pictures of nice scenery, sun sets, etc,
etc, are good too. In addition, if you have some thoughts about Rovermania
that you can contain in say a paragraph or two of text, I may look to integrate
that as well. This may include your thoughts about Rovermania, what makes
it work, what makes it fun, perhaps your most memerable QSO, etc, etc. I
would need any input that you may have for me sometime in the next month or so
... no big hurry, but I need to start thinking about putting my presentation
together soon.
Thanks in advance and I hope to see a bunch of fellow NLRSers at the
conference this summer.
73, Jon
