Thanks Brent!

Yes, that's extremely helpful. Somewhere around here, I have a map with the
lines drawn on it, but I don't have time to find it before we go!

I thought about it, and I figure I may as well put the squalos on the car. So
on the way back on Sunday afternoon, we'll be listening on 144.200 and/or
432.100, and monitoring 146.55.

Also, I'll try to put out a call at 9:30 PM central time on Saturday night
from EN47 on 146.55 and 144.200. We'll just be running 5 watts into a squalo,
so there's not much chance I can work the Twin Cities, but hopefully someone
in that area can swing the beam toward Gooseberry and pick up EN47. If
there's anyone in northern Wisconsin or the UP, it shouldn't be too hard to
work them. We have a bit more power on FM (vertically polarized), so if you
don't hear us on SSB, be sure to check 146.55 if you're anywhere close.

If I get a chance, I'll also put up a dipole for 6 meters. If you're really
close, I can also work you on the rubber duck. And I'll bring along the 220
HT, on the off chance I can work someone on 223.5 (with just the rubber
duck).

Remember, my XYL is also a ham, so any QSO's will be a twofer!

TNX & 73,
Rick W0IS
