Can someone tell me approximately where the boundaries for grid squares are
as
I'm driving along I-35? It looks like we'll pass through EN47, EN37, EN36,
and EN35. If someone happens to know the mileposts and/or landmarks where
the
boundaries are, that would be very helpful.
In the Twin Cities on 35E, EN34 is south of latitude 45, EN35 is north of
that. On 35E that line is less than one mile south of Hwy 36. After that,
heading north on 35W you pass from EN35 to EN36 about a half mile south of
Hinckley (east/west Hwy 48 that runs through Hinckley is in EN36). Continuing
north on 35W through Duluth your in EN36 until you cross over the 92 degree
longitude immediately north of Duluth, right about where the freeway splits off
from 62 where your briefly in EN46. Continuing north on either 62 or 35W
your in EN46 until your about 2 miles south of Two Harbors where you cross
into EN47. That should be close.
The Garmen GPS units will display six digit Maidenheads .... Fathers day is
coming up (hint).
