Hi Gang:
Here's the plan. Only 8 grids and should be lower key than some
roves. I'm taking two radios along for 6m but sense that both are
very sensitive to RF feedback in the Rover and I may either be low
power or off-the-air on 6m.
I have to drive to the farm tonight, load the antennas, and then
drive to Dodgeville, WI in order to be on the air at contest time.
Sat

Dodgeville, WI.

EN-44 2100z-2300z west of Wausau, WI. Heading to one
EN-45 2300z-0100z is heading to all.

Yes, I'm looking for everyone everywhere! Chicago, Milwaukee,
Minneapolis, Des Moines. And yes KM0T, K0AWU, K2YAZ, K2DRH, K8EB,
W0GA, and Stoned Monkeys, etc. (Don't be hurt if I didn't mention
you--I'm looking for you too! :-) ) And I'm looking for Scott up
in the UP too. I will particularly beam up to the UP while
driving on Sunday pointed northbound. And Yes, I printed out
everyone elses Rover plans and hope to find some of them too!
If I read the emails correctly, it looks like 144.250 is
available. I will do most of my CQ'ing on 144.250. I will try to
do only brief announces on .200. Yes, that's pretty far up the
band. You can help me out by encouraging new stations to really
TUNE around :-) . I will try to carry to .150 on most other
bands. I appreciate all the help fixed stations have given in the
past to help steer traffic up to the frequency.
I will have email tonight and tomorrow morning if I need to answer
a question for you. If I've picked a bad freq, please let me
know. I will be trying to get ahead of schedule on Sunday in
order to spend more time in EN-55.
Looking forward to working many of you frequently on many bands.
