Looking at the subject line, it begs asking...Is it a good idea to 
beacon on the calling frequency if the beacon is automatically 
controlled and possibly unattended, even for 5 minutes?  I know it 
sounds funny, but QRM on 10 GHz?  Starting to sound like HF ;)  
Seriously, would calling CQ be better??  Newbies want to know :)  If QRM 
is going to be a problem, I'll move down to 160 during the summer 
instead of getting on 10 GHz ;)
