 Hello all:

I am planning on being on for the entire contest from EN37ed. Jim KB0CIM
is on vacation and out of state so I will sure be looking for 1296 grids
since my own grid will not be available.

  NEW at K0AWU ...

(1) I now have 902 Thanks Chris N0JCY and Gary W0GHZ. The signals between
Gary and I have been HUGE the last two days. We are working on FM and have
full quieting at times with very rapid QSB, Gary peaking over S9 here!. Very
interesting. 33elem Loop yagi at about 65ft, 40W and a preamp. So a new grid
for many of you awaits! I use my 144Mhz SDR IF receiver on 902 also and
want to run 902.080 as much as possible. The 902 IO is fussy and .080 allows
my IF freq to be a much more desirable freq.

(2) 432 preamp, Thanks Barry VE4MA ... Since Icom worked on my IC820H about
18months ago, it was a bit hard of hearing. The preamp makes a very big
difference. I had still been working most everyone that was hearing me, but
this will sure help on this end. Fewer repeats.

(3) SDR Receiver on 1296, The 144Mhz SDR IF receiver now includes 1296.
This will sure help peaking and spotting signals.

So please look north and listen for myself and others up this direction. I
will be running 50, 144, 220, 432, 902, 1296Mhz and 10Ghz.

For those WAY BEYOND the horizon, email for skeds if you wish.

Good DX and operations conditions for all. 73
