[NLRS] June Log Submissions versus Cabrillo version 3 (was: Easy questions)

Todd,

It is my understanding, with the "uproar" about the "G"s being rejected,
that the 'new and improved?' robot has been slightly lobotomized to
accept WITH and WITHOUT "G" for bands above 1 GHz, even though "version
3" now "requires" the "G". That is, both ways are acceptable to the
robot for THIS past June, "1.2" OR "1.2G".

ALSO, last I checked, Bruce (WA7BNM) had NOT updated the web-to-cabrillo
process to put the Gs in so it was a slight embarassment to the Contest
Department that a process that they recommend for log submissions in
'their' electronic format was getting rejects from the new robot. Bruce
may very well have updated the web-to-cabrillo by now.

As far as the /1 for N4CW...I don't know.

Mike, WB8BZK, asked me the same thing...and I gave him the same
NON-answer. I KNOW that MY log went in with just "N4CW" and I'm pretty
sure Mike decided to go with "N4CW/1"...if that is ALL he or I get a
"Newington Score Discount" for, I'll be happy. If anyone has an
"authoritative" answer, I'd welcome it as well.

73, JK
