Practically the same as an 857D. Some say the same control computer.
The Microham USB II interface looks very interesting as the control
interface. The CAT port is TTL, not RS-232 but the Yaesu CT-62 makes
that conversion. This interface takes care of audio, ptt, and works from
USB.
