[NLRS] FT897D feedback needed

Hi Guys

  A friend of mine has Lou Gerrig disease (advanced) and is wanting to 
operate the HF freqs and maybe some "birds". He needs a compact radio and 
one that allows easy computer control. (Most modern radios do I think, he 
likes the size/features etc of the FT897D)

  He is considering a Yaesu FT897D. Any feedback??
