[NLRS] DEMI - A Class Act, in K9JK's opinion (was: A Very Pleasant Surprise)

Clair (and NLRSers),

Thanks Clair, for sharing that report. From my own experiences with 
Steve and Sandy, I had concluded that they ARE a 'class act' and this, 
to me, is just another confirmation of that.

Also, I suspect (hope?) that they are being a little bit (a lot?) 
'pessimistic' in their time line and their posting, to be sure that they 
do not create MORE opportunity to disappoint customers (beyond the 
disappointment that we will not be able to get any of their fine 
products for quite a long time frame) now that they have officially 
announced their move from NJ to FL. I bet they WILL be shipping orders 
received prior to the announcement of changing to DSMI (Down South 
Microwave Inc. ;-) right up until they vacate the Frenchtown location. 
And we can also hope that things go quickly when they establish their 
operations in Florida.

It's most UN-fortunate for anyone who was anticipating buying something 
from them for a new band in any of the summer events (and the September 
QSO Party, technically, is still summer) and didn't get their order in 
before this announcement.

I *AM* glad, however, to hear that "rumors of DEMI's demise were 
exaggerated".
