Hi everyone,
Thanks to everyone that I was able to work this past weekend, although slow
it was still fun to be on the air. A big thanks to all the rovers on this
weekend KF0Q, WA0VPJ, W9FZ, KC0IYT, KC0YGW, N0DQS, your Q'S amounted to the
great part of my score. Thanks to Dave N9TTX for all the humor ("this
frequency is in use" hi hi) and for the assistance trying to work WA0VPJ in
EN45 on 432, lots of hills out there, I guess. I did not work all night, 5
hours of sleep, more than any other contest, with waking to early morning
scatter on 50 mhz and working NO3I, W2SZ, W4IY and K5QE.
Highlights include:
Equipment worked great
Great rover action
Working many local calls not heard before
Working Bill K0HA EN10 on 6 Meters
Lowlights include:
Not beating Sept 05 score
No openings
Poor conditions on high bands
Unable to work K2DRH on 222 or 432 (did it before)
Unable to work WA0VPJ on 432 in EN45 (no clean sweep)

See everyone in January!!

Four band total:
N0VZJ SOLP EN35dh
Operating time: 28 hours

Band Qso's Qso Pts Total Grids Wrkd
50 94 1 94 25
144 109 1 109 26
222 49 2 98 19
432 66 2 132 19

Totals 318 433 89 = 38,537 pts

Log will be submitted electronically.
