Thats funny, I thought you were replying to my beacon.  I had worked Garry,
W0GHZ a few minutes earlier.  I found his beacon a bit north of where I
expected (I guess that road isn't quite east-West! I should have used the
compass) but that gave me an idea of where .100 was.  Since this location is
only a few degrees off of a straight line from GHZ to the IDS, I figured that
others would hear him working me and follow.  So, I kept beaconing every few
minutes and finally I heard a reply to my beacon.

I couldn't hear the KP beacon out there.

At least I didn't get r***ed on at that stop.
