Comments: Went mini-roving during the microwave activity hrs on Sunday.
At 1:00 pm I operated from the Burnsville hill in EN34 with 146, 5.7, and
10gigs. I thought with the fine mist that we were having that perhaps we
could play on rain scatter, but it was not do be. I did not detect any
rain scatter characteristics on any signals .... perhaps the mist was too
small. I did work Bill, K0AWU, on 10gigs (EN37) on weak CW, thanks Bill
! At 7:00pm I escaped dinner at the in-laws and went to EN35 - Stinson
Parkway site. Again, gray & cloudy, but no rain enhancement of any kind.
Worked W0AUS, W0GHZ, and N0KP on both 5.7 and 10 gig off of downtown.
Surprise QSO on 10 gig with Glen, KC0IYT/R, who was out in EN24. John,
W0JT, relayed via 146.46 that Glen was out in EN24 and with some
encouragement from Donn we turned our dishes to about 265 degrees or so,
beaconed for a minute, and there was Glen !
