You can use ScotchCoat which is an electrical sealer that you paint on.
It's a lot like rubber cement in consistancy but you can paint it on to
the open end of this piece of coax.

If ScotchCoat is not easy to find, then a second best would be this
Liquid Electrical Tape you can get at Home Depot, Fleet Farm, etc.
Same concept, just paint it on liberally to the open end of this coax,
sealing the junction where the center and braid part ways.
