Scott, I am not familiar with that antenna or the specifics that you have
outlined, but I have found that a combination of good old 3M electrical
tape and a spray on clear coat is effective for waterproofing. I first
wrap the connection with electrical tape ..... be aware of which way the
connection or coax will sit so as to get the tape layers to overlap like
shingles on a roof (if possible). I then spray the electrical taping
with a clear coat. The clear coat is very runny and gets into all the
cracks and seams and seals it up. However, the clear coat is not to
durable to uV, so then I cover that with a second layer of tape. When
you need to remove it later you can use a utility knife to slice and remove
it which is a bit easier than having to deal with something gooey like some
of the coax seal materials are.
