If the rig has VOX or KOX or FM its still important to break the audio,
key and PTT lines from the microphone to the radio, else the radio will
jump to put out RF on some mode and if its like mine, the RF appears
before the radio's hard key output and I've found GaAsFETs don't survive
that ONCE. Relay's might, but the preamps all got killed. Didn't happen
on SSB, happened on FM when I checked into a local net without taking
the time to unhook the preamp.
