Thanks for that excellent summary of weekend 1, Bruce.  I didn't think to 
clock the total mileage although as we passed through Eden Prairie Sunday 
evening nearing home, Alice passed his 60,000 mile mark.  At only two 
years and three months old, I think that's quite some feat!

One slight correction to Bruce's summary - Rover Pack I actually activated 
five grids on Saturday, so many of those at Lonsdale did make VUCC even 
without working their own grid.  Now that's pretty cool I think.

Haven't even neared completing the scoring for weekend one, but Saturday 
alone returned over 38k points.  Just a few short years ago, we were 
overjoyed with that as a total score for the entire cumulative event.

I really don't expect that rate to continue through both weekends but, if 
it did, there could be some super scores submitted from the Upper Midwest.
