Here's a "crazy" thought, directed to the folks who actually run the 
antenna range...

What are the chances of measuring all my antennas (144 MHz & up) while 
mounted on the rover vehicle in operating position, and then 
individually OFF the vehicle, to see what amount of degradation is 
caused by non-optimal stacking?  (Or is it not worth the effort because 
close mounting affects pattern more than gain, or is it not possible due 
to physical limitations of the test range itself, or just too much work 
to bother with in general?)
