Glenn and the rest, I have no plans at all for the September VHF contest.
I will be on from home giving out contacts on 50, 144 and 432. 50 and 432
are low power and very low antennas. 144 has some power but the antenna doesn't
turn.
I may get out Sunday afternoon to give out some 10G contacts. If there is
any real interest
I might be talked into taking along a couple of the bands from 1296 and up.

I've been more than a little apathetic about this contest, and have nothing
prepared right now. Operating from home isn't a very good option for me, so
I'm investigating going somewhere else. I might as well help others out by
activating something rarer than EN34. So, tonight I hope to find a more
secure (than the tripod) way of mounting the antennas on top of my car.
I think I'll try to activate EN35 on 902 and up, but I'll take a liason
antenna or three along (50, 144, 432). They could be pretty small antennas,
though. I'm still gunn-shy about using car power, so I'll be running on a
marine battery. I expect to do more listening than calling. Is anyone
(LJC?)
planning to operate from Ridgeway park?
I'll stop somewhere in EN34 (Eagan or Burnsville) in the evening on the way
home.
If I come up with something that travels well, I'll take the mess out to a
grid corner (probably Beauford) on Sunday.
